Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hello again, I just thought i'd notify you all about that #Arts-Unity is now accepting submissions. Please keep in mind our submission guidelines which can be found here - [link]. Thanks for being so patient with this, and I hope you are all doing well. Happy submitting!

Also, I have been reading a few comments from time to time mentioning about a Mixed Media folder, and with that I have taken that on board and have created a folder for that. However, this is only for Original pieces. No Fan art will be accepted here even if it was made with various medias, as they will be declined.

The featured folder is now open, but it is only open for us Admin's to decide on what we think deserves a feature. None of our work will go into it because that's not really in the spirit of the folder now is it? At random times, either in weeks or at a start of a month, I will decide on themes as-well which then I will allow you to submit based on that theme. But that's still in consideration. For now, it's just for us Admin's to decide and vote. (No members can submit here, unless an Admin has suggested it, and 2 admins have both accepted). I Hope that it wasn't confusing to understand as my english explanations suck. Sorry.

About Contributors please comment here or note me about your offer or contact the other co-founders aswell. We will not take upon invites which are via the system as they will be declined. We will want to personally invite you ourselves.
